With Session Settings you are building a section of your profile that’s organized by game and details the lessons you will offer for each of those games. This is a critical step as your profile will not be displayed on the site until you have completed at least one entry here.
Adding Lessons
Click New Session to create your first lesson.
Pick a lesson type. At this time the only option is 1:1 Session, but you’ll be able to use this tool to add Group Sessions soon.
Pick the number of sessions you’re including in this sale. This option will help you to build a training plan that unfolds over the course of several sessions.
Search for your game by entering a few characters in the field under Game and clicking Search for a Game. Please note that the game choice is not required, but will control where, if anywhere, your session is displayed on Metafy.
Give your session a title and description.
Add some tags and a cover image, and click Continue.
Choose whether you'd like your session to be Paid or Free. Please note that only Pros can charge for Metafy.
For now, select One-Time Payment. Soon you will be able to set up subscription-style offerings.
Set your price. Remember to discount the per-session price, if you are selling a plan.
Get fancy with some add-ons, where Pros can offer upgrades to their basic sessions. Perhaps your students would like to play a match against you. Maybe they'd like you to answer three questions of their choosing. Maybe they'd like you to provide them a VOD of your lesson. Have fun with it.
The last step is to add your welcome questions. The first one is autofilled with “What are your goals for this session?” From here you can add additional questions, to help you tailor your training to this student’s specific needs. Consider asking:
Current class/build
Biggest challenges right now
How long they’ve been playing
etc.
Click Finish and Create Session.
Make sure to add your completed session to your Metafy profile. It won’t show up automatically.
📣 Note: Your session won’t be added to your game’s Coaching page until you’re an active Pro. Meaning, you need to have completed a paid booking.
