Dealing with missed Sessions

Life happens. Whether you're juggling school, work, or just lost track of time, sometimes a session doesn't go as planned. Here’s how missed sessions are handled on Metafy.


⏰ If you miss the session

All scheduled sessions on Metafy are automatically marked as completed once the scheduled time passes, whether or not anyone showed up.

If you don’t attend and haven’t messaged your Metafy Partner ahead of time, they’re not obligated to reschedule or refund. They’ve already blocked off that time for you.

That said, many Metafy Partners are understanding. If you had a valid reason and message them soon after, they may be willing to reschedule, but it’s entirely up to them.

💡 Tip: If you know you can’t make it, message your Metafy Partner early to request a reschedule.


🧍 If the Metafy Partner misses the session

If your Metafy Partner doesn’t show up for a scheduled session, you’re entitled to a refund or a reschedule.

  • If it was a no-show: Contact support@metafy.gg with proof the Partner didn’t show up (e.g. screenshots, chat logs). Once verified, we’ll process a refund.

  • If it was never scheduled: If the Metafy Partner hasn’t accepted the session and the scheduled time passes, message Support and we’ll refund it.

You’re also welcome to message the Partner directly first. Most will want to make it right, but if they’re unresponsive or you’d rather go through us, we’ve got your back.
