Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is played on Nintendo Switch. It’s one of the few games that has built-in recording functionality. Here’s how to record your gameplay:

  • You need to insert a micro SD card into your Switch. (If you need help, check out How to Insert/Remove microSD Cards, on the Nintendo site.

  • After each match, when you see the results screen, you can press the Y button on the controller to save it as a Replay, and choose Yes.

  • You can locate your saved replays by going to Smash’s Main Menu and selecting Vault, then Replays, then Replay Data.

  • From there you can select specific clips and use Convert to Video to turn them into MP4 files that are saved on your micro SD card. Those videos can be transferred to PC (or any other device that takes micro SD cards, such as a smartphone) for upload to Metafy.
