You love Metafy; we love that you love Metafy. You can leave a written or video testimonial once for each Metafy Expert you book. If the Expert likes your submission, they’ll feature it on their coaching page for the world to see.

After your first session with an Expert, you will see a notification in your Dashboard encouraging you to leave a testimonial. Some Experts offer a one-time discount as a thank-you gift for reviews. The way that works is that once you submit your testimonial (and we’ve received it), a discount code will appear on your dashboard, and you’ll also receive an email.

What should you do?

Just leave a short written or video testimonial for your Expert by talking candidly about your recent session with them.

How long will this process take?

It typically takes just about five minutes. There is nothing to install (even if you go with a video testimonial) and you can easily record video using your computer’s camera.

What should you cover?

You will be prompted to rate your expert, to help get you started. After that you’ll be able to explain, either in written or video form, the reasoning behind your rating. Your review doesn’t have to be long, it just needs to be authentic. (In fact, if you ramble for too long, the recorder will cut you off, so aim for 60 seconds with a video testimonial.) If you’re drawing a blank, think about the topics you covered in your session, and any improvements you’ve made as a result of your time with your expert.

And of course you can always opt out.

Video Testimonial Tips:

  • Find a quiet place free from disturbance.

  • You can redo the recordings as many times as you like, so there is plenty of time to practice.

  • Just relax and smile at your camera.

  • If you’re not sure what to say, consider talking about:

    • What you and your expert covered during your lesson

    • Ways you improved/things you learned during the course of your lesson

    • How you think your expert’s coaching will affect your future gaming

    • What types of students would benefit from your expert’s coaching

You can also leave your expert a tip. For more on that, check out this article.
