Ready to bring your community together? Whether it’s a masterclass, a Q&A, or just hanging out, Metafy Events make it easy to set up something awesome. Here’s how you can get one live in just a few clicks.
Setting Up Your Event
Step 1: Getting Started 🚀
Head to Events.
From your Dashboard, go to Products & Offerings > Events, then hit the yellow Create Event button.
Or, if you’re on desktop, you can also click the + icon on the lower-left panel. On mobile, it’s at the bottom center of your screen.
Step 2: Add Your Event Details 📝
• Date & Time: When the event is scheduled.
• Duration: Choose how long it’ll run — anywhere from 30 minutes to 4 hours. You can set times in 30-minute steps (like 1.5, 2.5, or 3.5 hours).
• Maximum Seats: Decide how many spots you want to make available. Keep it limited for a more personal session, or open it up to more attendees.
• Visibility: Choose who can see it:
Your Community (Public): Everyone can buy a ticket.
Team Members’ Communities: Let your teammates’ communities see it too.
Unlisted: Only people with a direct link can join (it won’t show up in Discovery or Communities).
• Game: Pick the game the event is focused on.
• Title: Give your event a name that stands out.
• Description: Add a short blurb to let people know what to expect.
• Cover Image: Add something eye-catching. First impressions count!
When you’re ready, click Continue.
Step 3: Pricing 💰
Decide how people can access your event:
• One-Time Payment: Set your ticket price.
• Free: Open it up at no cost.
• Subscribers Only: If you have paid tiers, you can choose which Tiers can access the Event and set their discount amount (percentage or free).
👉 You can also offer an Event Recording for people who missed it live. Anyone who bought a ticket to the live event will automatically get access to the recording.
Add-Ons ➕
Want to offer extra materials, bonus content, or private follow-ups? Add-ons let you give attendees optional upgrades for an added cost. If you don’t need add-ons, just leave this section blank.
Boost Engagement 🗣️
Turn your event into a Community Post to spark discussion before and after the event. You can share a welcome note, a fun fact, or a question to get the conversation rolling.
That’s it! You’ve just created a Metafy Event. Now you’re ready to teach, connect, and have some fun with your community.
