First of all, thank you! Your interest and excitement about Metafy absolutely curls our toes. You rock. When our team reviews your application and says “no,” what we mean is “not yet.” We’d like you to apply again, once you get more established.
Note: There is a 60-day waiting period between your rejection date and the ability to submit a new profile, so you'll be locked out from re-applying unless that window has passed.
General Guidance:
We’re looking for a combination of factors in Metafy experts. And being strong in one area can compensate for being weak in another. If you weren’t accepted, it’s most likely for one of the following reasons:
Not enough achievements within your game
Not enough social and community reach
Lack of evidence that you’re in demand by students
No hustle—insufficient time or willingness to grow your coaching
Lack of communication—we can’t help you if we can’t get in touch with you
There’s no hard-and-fast rule, but taking a careful look at these issues will increase your chances of being chosen for Metafy in the future.
A bit more insight, from the Expert Experience Team:
We look for experts who are both deeply involved and community leaders within a game. This can come in many forms, including as a content creator, current or former professional player, competing in (and winning) local or international tournaments, and more. And as an educational platform, we know that it's not enough to just be a great player. Prior coaching experience and existing educational content are good indicators that an applicant will succeed on Metafy.
Thanks, and see you soon!
