Turn your knowledge into something other players can learn from (and pay for). Here’s how to create a Guide on Metafy:
Creating a Guide
• Click the + Create icon at the bottom left side of your dashboard and choose Guide.
or
• Go to Dashboard > Product Offerings > Guides and hit that yellow Create Guide button.
Add your details
Here’s what you’ll need to fill out:
• Title: Pick a clear name. Make sure it matches the content (for example, don’t call it “in-depth” unless it really is).
• Visibility: Decide who gets to see it—just your community, another team you’re part of, or a private audience.
• Game (optional): Tagging the game makes your Guide easier to find.
• Description: Write a short overview so people know exactly what they’ll get inside.
Make it look good
• Cover Image: Use 1920x1080 pixels / 16:9 ratio.
• Trailer Video (optional): Add one to help sell your Guide.
• Extra Graphics: Mix in visuals to keep it interesting.
Tip: Avoid text on cover images, since it may be cropped or resized across different devices.
Add co-authors (optional)
If you worked with someone else on your Guide:
• Add them as a co-author.
• Set a percentage split for royalties.
• The co-author will need to accept your request before the split applies.
Set your pricing
You decide how players can access your Guide. There are a few options:
One-time payment
Charge a fixed price per Guide.
• You can also make it available to your paid subscribers.
• Choose which Tiers get access and set discounts (percentage-based or free).
Free
Make your Guide available at no cost.
Subscriber Only
Limit access to users who support your Community through a subscription.
• If a user cancels their subscription, they lose access to the Guide.
⚠️ Subscriber-only pricing is not available if the Guide’s visibility is set to a team Community. To continue, either pick a different pricing option or update your visibility settings.
Adding content
Once your details and pricing are saved, your Guide is ready. Next up is the fun part: adding your content. You can organize it into chapters and mix in different types of content.
Content blocks you can add
• Headings
• Text
• Videos
• Images
• GIFs
• Quotes
• Dividers
• Google Sheets
• Links to Google Docs, Slides, or other resources
Editing your Guide
You can still edit most details like the title, description, or pricing by clicking Guide Settings. Just keep in mind that co-authors must be added before content creation — they can’t be added later.

Publish your Guide
When you’re ready, publish your Guide so players can buy or access it.
